Having agreed a sponsorship deal with the Roald Dahl brand, Rangemaster needed to find the most effective means of promoting the partnership to their key market of mums. Social media was identified as the optimal conduit for all activity.
Orbital decided to take Rangemaster’s top 5 iconic Roald Dahl Revolting Recipes, integrate them into a Facebook application, then incentivise the community to recreate their favourites. Users were encouraged to share a picture of their creation on the Rangemaster Facebook page.
Using Scribd, the world’s largest online social library, combined with a viral Look-Book style Facebook application, we created a unique platform where entrants could fully engage with the competition and access the branded recipes with ease.
