Objective

Develop a cost effective social media campaign mechanic that would excite and engage our audience in the build up to Christmas.

Activity 

We conceptualised and designed a Swizzels branded Christmas Advent calendar campaign, whereby each day the social communities were presented with a unique piece of animated content that opened up a virtual door. This revealed an exclusive piece of branded content. Each day offered something different, from a competition with Swizzels prizes, to recipes, to exclusive discounts and much more.

Results

  • Campaign hashtag reach: 3 million
  • Almost 100% positive or neutral campaign sentiment
  • Total branded content video views: 140,000
  • Total social channel engagements: 22,000.
