If you already understand the game, or are even perhaps playing, then you’ll know about Pokestops, and if you are a retailer or any type of customer facing business you could well be a Pokestop yourself, and if not, there could be one nearby (or you can even apply to be one). Use your social accounts to advertise the fact that you are a Pokestop and encourage potential customers to stop by (and spend some money with you), while they pick up their essential Pokémon items. You can even go so far as setting a ‘lure’ on your Pokestop to make it all the more attractive. Some businesses have reported a 70% increase in trade as a result of the Pokémon Go phenomenon! As the old adage goes “make hay while the sun shines!”
